1. What SaaufAI is
SaaufAI ("the Service", "we") is an API gateway. It accepts requests in the OpenAI Chat Completions format and forwards them to an upstream AI model provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini) or another OpenAI-compatible host), translating the request and response formats along the way. SaaufAI does not train, host or operate its own language models.
2. Access and API keys
- API keys are personal credentials issued and revoked by the SaaufAI administrator.
- Your API key is personal to you or the project it was issued for. Do not share, publish or embed it in client-side code.
- You are responsible for all usage made with your key. Tell the administrator immediately if you believe it has leaked; the key will be revoked and replaced.
- We may revoke a key at any time, for example for breaching these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for suspected compromise, or when the Service is discontinued.
3. Upstream provider terms
Every request is ultimately processed by a third-party provider. By sending a request to a model, you also agree to comply with that provider's usage policies (for example the OpenAI Usage Policies, the Anthropic Usage Policy, or the Google Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy). How each model treats your data is shown on that model's page under Models.
4. Outputs
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or offensive, and may resemble content that belongs to others. You must review outputs before relying on them and must not present them as professional (legal, medical, financial or similar) advice. As between you and SaaufAI, you own your inputs and, to the extent permitted by law and the upstream provider, the outputs generated for you.
5. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without uptime guarantees. Models may be added, renamed, re-routed to a different upstream or removed at any time. Rate limits and errors from upstream providers are passed through to you. SaaufAI may also apply its own safeguards (usage limits, request size limits and content categories) and may answer a request with a disclosed fallback model when the requested model is unavailable or a safeguard is reached. Which safeguards and fallbacks apply is shown on each model's page.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaaufAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the Service or of any output. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use your API key after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
